Lace was a popular embellishment for both clothing and home decor in the early 1900's. See samples of antique lace and how it was used. Vintage doilies, collars, cuffs, and much more will be on display taken from the collection at Pennypacker Mills.

Pennypacker Mills is the home of Pennsylvania Governor Samuel W. Pennypacker (1903-1907) and his family. The mansion is fully furnished with numerous family heirlooms. Glimpse life in the early 20th century! The mansion is located on 170-acres of farmland now operated by the Montgomery County Department of Parks & Heritage Services. Hours: Tuesday thru Saturday: 10 am to 4 pm; Sunday, 1 to 4 pm. Closed Mondays & Major Holidays. Information: 610-287-9349. Handicapped restrooms & parking available. Mansion is handicapped accessible only on first floor.
