Friends of Fort Halifax Park, Inc. hosts this one day history event. British, French and Native American reenactors of the French and Indian War portray what life was like on the frontier with trade scenarios and firing demonstrations. Experience demonstrations of gunsmithing, blacksmithing, printing, sewing, and more from living history experts. Be entertained by the Central York Middle School Fife and Drum Corp. And learn from expert archaeologists about the newly rediscovered Fort Halifax, and view exhibits from the State Museum of PA and guests from Fort Hunter and Fort Augusta. There are childrens activities, haywagon rides, Tomahawk throwing, Handmade Arts and Crafts, public and nonprofit interest groups, Food vendors, and more Free admission and parking.
